National Water Park Day is a relatively new addition to the ever-growing list of national days. As the popularity of water parks soared, it only made sense to designate a day specifically to celebrate the wonders of these aquatic playgrounds. The first recorded mention of National Water Park Day dates back to 2017, when a group of water park enthusiasts decided it was high time to give these watery wonders their own dedicated day. Since then, it has gained traction and now millions around the world come together on July 28th each year to revel in the joy of water parks.
